‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’ Funko Pops Announced; Moopsy Added To Mobile Game

Today’s release of the season 4 finale of Star Trek: Lower Decks brings along some more goodies for fans of the show. Funko chose today to announce a whole line Lower Decks figures for their popular Funko Pop! line. And the mobile game Star Trek: Lower Decks – The Badgey Directive has added everyone’s favorite bone-drinking monster, Moopsy. We also round up some previously announced new Lower Decks stuff to add to your collection including the just-released Hallmark ornaments.

Funko goes Lower Decks

The ever-expanding Funko Pop! line of vinyl figures is adding 5 more from Star Trek. Coming soon are Pop! Beckett Mariner, Pop! Bradward Boimler, Pop! D’Vana Tendi, Pop! Samanthan Rutherford, and Pop! Badgey. The figures are set to be released in January. Entertainment Earth already has all five for pre-order at $11.99 each.

Like with all Funkos, each 4-inch vinyl figure comes in a display box. Here is a closer look at the Mariner Funko box…

Moopsy goes mobile… and more

A breakout character for this season was the cute little bone-drinking monster Moopsy from the episode “I Have No Bones Yet I Must Flee.” If you want more Moopsy in your life you can get it in Star Trek: Lower Decks – The Badgey Directive. Today East Side Games announced players can add their own Moopsy for free through an in-game event this weekend.

The game is available for free at the Apple App Store and Google Play for Android. Visit startreklowerdecksmobilegame.com for more and links to download.

It looks like there is more Moopsy merch coming. A couple of weeks ago Master Replicas cryptically announced they are working on something related to Moopsy on Twitter with the hashtag “Moopsyiscoming” also adding the tag for QMx. Master Replicas parent company Heathside Trading recently acquired Quantum Mechanix who have previously released a number of Star Trek collectibles.

Out now – add Badgey to your tree

If you are looking for more new Lower Decks things in your life, Hallmark has just released Badgey as part of their 2023 line of Star Trek ornaments. Badgey comes as a set of 2 for $19.99 and can be picked up at Hallmark stores or ordered directly from hallmark.com.

More Lower Decks stuff coming in 2024

There is more Lower Decks merchandise coming. EXO-6 has partnered with Mondo and Funko on a new series of maquette statues of Mariner, Boimler, and Badgey. Each is 7″ tall and made of PVC. Mariner and Boimler come with accessories and Badgey is sold as a pair (good and evil). The Lower Decks statues are set to arrive in April, 2024 and you can pre-order them now at Entertainment Earth for $54.99 each.

Finally, at SDCC 2023 IDW announced Star Trek: Lower Decks: Warp Your Own Way, an interactive graphic novel in the style of “Choose Your Own Adventure” books. The book is being written by Ryan North with art by Chris Fenoglio. It will be released in the fall of 2024.

Moopsy

Moopsy!!

Moopsy!

While I love this Funko news, part of me wishes we could have gotten Bones, Scotty, Uhura, Sulu and Chekov (Prime universe, not Kelvin or Mirror) first.

There’s an old Scotty Pop but a new one would be cool, and it’d definitely be nice if they finished the TOS and TNG crews

Must have Badgey…

Wonder who will have the exclusive Goodgey they eventually announce?

Really excited to see more LDS merch and think really shows it has a future beyond season 5 and MM’s talk was just that his paranoid talk lol

I really wish Playmates Toys would get it in gear and do some action figures and a light and sound Cerritos. They really are wasting a lot of time and opportunities to get this stuff out while these shows are popular. I like the rehash of TOS and TNG also but don’t make it the focus of whole waves and neglect currently airing shows. A three pack of Space Suited Chapel and Spock facing off against Space Suited Gorn would surely be an incredible purchase!
