See Spock Make A Curious Discovery In Preview Of ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds – The Illyrian Enigma’ #4

This week IDW wraps up their first tie-in to the Paramount+ series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Titled The Illyrian Enigma, the four-issue miniseries is set after the events of the season 1 finale and before the upcoming second season. It’s written by Strange New Worlds co-executive producer Kirsten Beyer, teaming up again with Trek comics veteran Mike Johnson (Picard-Stargazer, Discovery-Adventures in the 32nd Century, Light of Kahless). Art for the new miniseries is being done by Megan Levens (Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Star Trek: The Mirror War-Troi). We have a five-page preview and all four covers from the final issue.

Synopsis: 

The crew of the Enterprise sets course for Vulcan to procure evidence that will exonerate their commander of Starfleet’s charges. But what they learn about Number One’s species, the Illyrians, calls everything into question.

i can sense… i can sense some sort of how Kirk resolve problems with others there is no misconception that kirk copied something from pike :)

Not entirely sure what you mean.

Here Pike do the same with the Captain and beam him over. But he has no Ill meaning. the TOS Kirk had also some “tit for tat” solutions. So perhaps Pike gave him some inspirations
