Given that Star Trek series usually lose at least one cast member before they end their run, which of the red shirts seen here other than Uhura won’t make it? lol.

Uhura will die, but another character will take on her name to honor her noble sacrifice.

Oh, wait… that’s Star Wars.

No, that’s Caprica, lol.

Or was it the last season of Smallville? lol

And then no one will ever mention it again… just like Spock’s half-sister and the Spore Drive.

No magic mushrooms allowed, this is Star Trek.

Obviously it will be Hemmer as we know Scotty eventually becomes the chief engineer.

That is a true possibility.

These are pretty freaking awesome. I think M’benga and Khan’s great^8 grandkid are my two favorites

These remind me of some of the Bantam and Pocketbook cover art styles of the 70’s and 80’s.

I don’t think that I have been this excited for a Star Trek series since Enterprise. While I am one of those fans that would have enjoyed a new series with the 60s TOS aesthetic, I am really excited to see this time period explored. The cast looks great, it looks like they are going to focus on them and the visuals are stunning. I think the good things that I will like about the show will outweigh the bad.

Nice character posters! Glad I got P+ starting today.

Love the character posters.

Now that we have these in full quality… And I feel bad for pointing this out… But unless there’s a secret crossover with the Kelvin timeline we don’t know about, they put the wrong Enterprise on these posters.

I noticed that right away too. Goes to show the promotional folks aren’t up to speed / in the loop. Just cutting and pasting stock photos together.

the nacelles are a little chubby aren’t they?

It’s 100% the silhouette of the 2009 movie’s 1701.

Yup, would be nice if they fixed it.

Right?!?!?! What;s up with that?? Why wouldn’t they use their superior version of the Enterprise?

Love how colorful these are, really fits the tone the show seems to have. And of course, they’re all cool new planets! (The rejected title of the show :P)

Poster artist used a Kelvin-era Enterprise in the background of these posters (zoom in).

You’re right. Hilarious. Hopefully it’s just a mistake and there’s no crossover.

Oh, most definitely a mistake. Not sure how they let that one slip but goes to show that the folks working in the art department don’t know the difference.

Would almost say that they lifted it straight from one of the Star Trek Beyond posters.
Hope they fix it.

they are nailing the colorful aesthetic

I wonder now if they eventually get Scotty on the show should they consider Chris Doohan playing his fathers role? He did it in the fan series, but I don’t think he is a professional actor so it’ll probably not happen.

I like!!!

These are gorgeous and I really can’t wait for this show to debut.

I love the native indian american characters. ah none

This has to be a new record. Giving half of the main cast incorrect ranks.

No they are correct we never knew chapels rank in tos the rest are commanders or lt

Chapel was clearly an Ensign in TOS, a Lt. in TAS and TMP and finally a Commander in TVH.

Ortegas is addressed as Lt. by Pike in the trailer, but has Lt Cmdr. stripes. Singh is identified as Lt. in promo materials but also has Lt. Cmdr. stripes. And CMO Cmdr. M’Benga later working under CMO Lt. Cmdr. McCoy also needs some serious explanation.

Could end up demoted? Will be interesting to see if Chapel is still a nurse, or is she some other division here? Perhaps she was actually on a different track and ended up doing against regulations (maybe that’s when she loses her fiancé??). Then she almost gets kick out of the Starfleet and ends up a nurse (and eventually finds full redemption on the 5 year mission and after TMP?) The White uniform brings up a lot of questions.

Looks great! Can’t believe its almost here after a two year wait!

Can someone fix the posters with the actual awesome SNW version of the Enterprise given these posters are sooo close to greatness?!!?
They remind me of the classic Trek comic titles, like the Modola Imperative titles! Someone throw the better looking classic big E on there quick! I don’t know how to link to a picture, but were those some great covers.

Coolness
