The boys in the Paramount interactive department have followed up last month’s update to the official Star Trek movie site with a brand new Star Trek widget which you can add to your website, homepage or social networking site. The widget allows you to get the latest content from the movie and can be customized, see below for more.

Firstly, Michael Dorn is the latest Star Trek crossover to appear on the NBC comic-book drama Heroes where Star Trek The Next Generation’s Worf was a surprise guest star. Did you think the William Shatner v JJ Abrams thing was over? Think again! In a new interview, The Shat is now claiming that it was all ‘a game,’ but he then says that Abrams and his team actually showed him a ‘fake script’ when they came to talk to him about the new Star Trek movie. And so here we go again!
It had to eventually happen. Star Wars and Star Trek’s histories have been intertwined from the beginning, and now George Takei will be the first Star Trek main cast actor to appear in a George Lucas Star Wars production, the Star Wars: The Clone Wars cartoon version which has brought in nearly 20 million viewers for its first few episodes on the Cartoon Network.
In a new interview with MTV, Star Trek director JJ Abrams says that the final cut of the film should be completed very soon. He also talked about deleted scenes, humor, Majel Roddenberry, and more, including what is different about his star Trek movie.
