I like the premise of this one!

Role reversal, Mirror Universe Cerritos, and the old American west tropes all packed into one episode with a scatological title.

Wow, that promises to be a lot.

But McMahan has said that the back half of the season would run on all burners.

Mirror Universe is entering the LD show. I believe that the cowboy costumes are possibly an easter egg to TOS where Kirk, Spock and Bones are forced to go through ‘The Gunfight at the O.K. Corral’?

more than the cowboy costumes, the iconic red background from “Spectre of the Gun”

Wow this one looks really fun! Loved last weeks a lot but this one sounds like it will be similar to “Crisis Point” like first season and will be directly influenced from past stories. And looks like a LOT of TOS! So even more fun!

Considering Mike McMahan was involved with Rick & Morty (and they had the interdimensional cable episodes every season for the most part) I wonder if we’ll get something like Crisis Point every season.

I hope so! That was my second favorite episode of the season (the finale was my first) and if this one is good too it would be fun to find fun ways to recapture certain scenes of episodes or movies. DON’T over do it, but like how they do it in Family Guy. Things like this really works for animated comedies.

Looking forward to see a LDS version of the Star Trek movies like Family Guy did it with Star Wars. ;-)

Cool! That outfit worn by a drill instructor looks Zyuranger-esque to me. Yes, that Super Sentai show was among the bases for the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Its the outfit that Bem wore in TAS. He was the same species as the drill instructor.

I’m feeling the need to play our set of TAS DVDs again.

How am I missing these callbacks?

Distasteful for a Star Trek episode. I am all about adult humor in appropriate shows. Star Trek however. Is no venue for it. I, Excretus as an episode just about destroyed my faith in the show. After the Mugato episode and this one. It’s clear they are taking Star Trek in a direction that it was never meant to go. It’s disrespectful to the franchise.
