Halloween on the Holodeck

Star Trek: Holo-Ween has IDW “bringing horror to the holodeck in a new four-issue miniseries in the month of October!” The series set in the Star Trek: The Next Generation era is being written by Chris Sequeira (Justice League Adventures and Sherlock Holmes: Dark Detective) and Eisner-nominated artist Joe Eisma (Morning Glories and Engineward). The first issue arrives on October 4 (priced at $3.99).

Here is the official synopsis:

After enduring an anxiety-ridden passage through a solar storm, Captain Picard and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise take to celebrating Halloween to reset the mood. But while the Earth holiday involves sweet treats and other festivities, they soon learn that fear is in season when crew members begin to go missing one by one.

“Day of Blood” wraps up in September

In July IDW launches the 5-issue “Day of Blood” crossover with a one-off Day of Blood issue that is followed up with four issues between the ongoing Star Trek and Defiant comics. Part four arrives with Defiant #7 in early September (see previous preview), with part five arriving later in September wrapping up the main story. There will also be a bonus one-off issue, from Shaxs’ perspective, promising to detail “the Bajoran’s beast-mode brawl and showcasing all the behind-the-scenes Klingon-zealot butt-kicking in full animated glory!”

Meanwhile, the TMP artwork continues to impress…

Yes, very faithful to the TOS crew

Ilove all of the comics, and there is some great art represented, but that scared Troi cover is hilarious! Maybe that’s what the artist was going for? I’m gonna need both of those Shax covers!

Holoween looks fun , Picard and Troi vs a borgified Jack the Ripper?!

No much in the way of Kelvin comics now (I guess SNW has taken over)..
