The digital release of Star Trek: Resurgence was praised for its immersion and branching storytelling set in the Star Trek: The Next Generation era, including a very positive review here at TrekMovie. With launch bugs and issues now patched the game is ready for a release on physical media for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, PlayStation5, and PlayStation4.

Now Dramatic Labs, the independent game developer formed by Telltale Games veterans, has announced an exclusive pre-order/day-one bonus pack for the physical versions of Star Trek: Resurgence. For a limited time, pre-order and day-one (October 27) customers will receive two free codes from participating retailers. I liked the game, and it wasn’t terribly expensive on Epic Gamestore either, but console players getting these extras (for the same-ish price) still kinda irks me. And when the Steam version releases? That might include some kind of bonus as well.

according to their AMA the Steam version will be coming Mid 2024 due to time exclusivity with Epic
