Memorial Day Weekend in Phoenix is going to get a lot geekier with Phoenix Comic Con. This year promises to be the biggest one ever for the fan-friendly event, including a slew of Star Trek guests and fan panels. William Shatner will be there along with Star Trek: The Next Generation stars Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, Marina Sirits, Wil Wheaton and LeVar Burton. Last night William Shatner appeared on The Colbert Report to promote his new Broadway show and host Stephen Colbert showed his inner Trekkie by gushing with Bill, including saying that when he was on Star Trek he was "god damn beautiful" and a "golden god." It looks like Star Trek’s William Shatner is saying goodbye to another character — who is literally going out in a heroic blaze of glory. Today Priceline released what they are calling the final ad featuring Shatner as "The Negotiator," and they may even be ending their relationship with the actor who helped launch the brand in the 90s.
