I listened to All Access Star Trek and thought it was great! I was putting it off because the name is so bad. Is it too late to change it?

I so enjoy this podcast; it is the most thorough news for all Star Trek fans.

I really enjoyed the podcast and as ever it was great to hear what you thought of all the news that was released in the last few days. Despite all the mentions for “First Contact” your coming together reminded me of that films immediate predecessor, “Star Trek: Generations”. To paraphrase the tagline for that movie “Two Podcasts, One Destiny”.

Ha! That’s perfect. We hope to team up again, maybe for the Las Vegas con.

Hi,

I loved this weeks podcast. It was a great discussion and I enjoyed having the two casts share their thoughts on all the news from First Contact Day!

I do agree that Discovery and Lower Decks need to rely less on nostalgia and easter eggs. They just need to make it their own unique story.

Good podcast. I was hoping you would discuss the Bajoran tablet that Sisko broke a bit more, but that is just me as a biased DS9 fan. I am still holding out hope that we will see Avery Brooks as Sisko somehow on the show.

Anyway, Kayla is right that the fact there are FIVE Trek shows (and a Trek movie) currently in production is a big deal. I still say that the 90s are the Golden Age of Star Trek (or is it Latinum Age?), but the 2020s could be the Silver Age.

I always thought there was a missed opportunity on DS9: I would’ve liked to have seen Picard come back at some point and see that Sisko really belonged there, given the nature of their meeting in the pilot. Ah well.

You are right. There was the TNG episode Birthright Part 1 where the Enterprise docked at DS9. Picard should have had at least a short scene with Sisko then. But the only DS9 character we got from that episode was Bashir, who was acting totally out of character, IMHO.

Not had much free time to spend on Trek Movie lately, so this podcast was the ideal way to catch up on what I’ve been missing…

Wow, so many new announcements. Really picked a good time for a break, didn’t I?!!

Just wanted to say how good it was to hear the two podcast ‘crews’ working together. Came across as a really good round-table discussion. I’m definitely pleased to hear you’re planning to do it again at some point.

So, then…

New movie news: we’ve been here before, but seems like it might the real thing this time. Fingers crossed.

Prodigy definitely sounds more and more interesting, the more they announce about it. Really good to see something specifically targeting a young audience.

And the best piece of news, as far as I’m concerned anyway: Q’s return!!! So excited about this. It could even lift PIC S2 above SNW in terms of anticipation for me now.

Anyway, lots of articles to catch up on, and two of the last three podcasts still to listen to. Thanks again for this review. Glad you all enjoyed FC day.
