STLV18: Check Out New And Exclusive Star Trek Products From Titan, Roddenberry, And Others

For collectors, the Vendors’ Room at Star Trek Las Vegas is always a big highlight. This year a number of the Star Trek licensees had exclusives and debuts to show off, just for STLV.

Titan Discovery mini figure con exclusives

The folks at Titan are offering two convention exclusives, both from Star Trek: Discovery. The first is a 3″ Michael Burnham mini vinyl figure, priced at $10. The second is a 4.5″ USS Discovery vinyl figure. Both are limited editions, but if they have any left over after the con they will be available online.

Roddenberry Picard Desk Computer Replica

The folks at Roddenberry are showing off the latest replica from their Picard Desk Set series. Exclusively available to pre-order at the convention is a replica of Picard’s ready room computer. According to Roddenberry, each replica computer is machined from a solid block of polymer and uses the original technique from the series in recreating the LCARS graphic.

The specific graphic used for the replica is from the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Suddenly Human.” The replica retails for $2,500 and they plan to only make 90 units, which they expect will sell out at the con. If they don’t, it will be made available online after STLV.

Roddenberry was also showing off a new set of Saurian Brandy glasses, along with a bottle. The glasses are available to order now online for $149. However, the bottle is not yet available as they are currently gauging interest.

Eaglemoss “Ripper”

At the Eaglemoss booth they were showing off their brand new “Ripper” the tardigrade figure, which is a bonus gift exclusively for those who subscribe to their Star Trek: Discovery ships collection.

Eaglemoss was also selling their STLV convention exclusive USS Glenn XL ship from Star Trek: Discovery, which we previewed earlier this week.

Gold Bubble dresses

Gold Bubble Clothing is selling five new Star Trek A-Line dresses at STLV. They have two different TNG uniform-style dresses, one Wesley Crusher -styled dress, a Discovery mirror universe dress and a Discovery ship dress. All are marked down for the con to $76 from the regular price of $85.

Hallmark con-exclusive TAS ornaments

Hallmark was also in the Vendor’s room, showing off their 2018 line of Star Trek Pop Minded Keepsake ornaments and Star Trek plushes, which we previewed earlier this year.

Of particular interest to fans at STLV was their convention exclusive Star Trek: The Animated Series set of two ornaments with Arex and M’Ress, which they also had at SDCC and will also be selling at NYCC in October. These are the first ever TAS ornaments for Hallmark and the set is selling for $40 for the pair.

3″ Michael Burnham = Cute

She’s super cute. I still wish the Discover ship design was “cute” but even though this is my fav Trek series so far I truly detest the design of the exterior of the ship.

I’m the complete opposite. I love the ship details of the Discovery. I’ve never liked how cartoon like the ships look on the old shows. Even the new Enterprise looks great.

Interesting… The bottle used in the photos seems to be actually made using a vintage ’64 Dickle Tennessee Whiskey bottle. Be cool if it was a vintage screen used prop, but more likely they mocked this up by grabbing a vintage bottle off of eBay and making the same modifications to it that the Trek prop people did in the 60’s.
.
It’s not too hard to do. I know this, as I have very little talent for such things myself, and even I was able to make myself my own pretty convincing Saurian Brandy bottle. Personally, if they ever do put newly made reproductions of the bottle on sale, I highly recommend anyone interested save themselves the insane price it would probably go for Just get yourself a vintage Dickle bottle, some masking tape, and some orange paint! Easy!

I feel like the bottle is a much more enticing offer than the glasses

I want little Ripper! He can navigate the Mycelial Network across dimensions/space/time and I want to go places with him :)

It’s a shame that almost all Trek licences seems to have end up in the hands of ferengis. The Roddenberry case is specially flagrant, living at the expense of his father work and fame and yet sucking people’s money for cheap products.

Ha! Yeah, thankfully old Gene never lowered himself to make a quick, cheap buck.

Tough to argue your observation. Two glasses for $149 seems quite lofty.

Dissapointed that the third of three in the Picard desk series is of such limited quantity that virtually no one will get to buy one esecially completists that may have bought the other two.

I RESPECT AREX BECAUSE HE IS FROM THE SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS. HE IS NOT A PRODUCT OF STARFLEET’S MORIBUND EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM (OR VAAL FORBID THE VULCAN SCIENCE ACADEMY, WHICH PRODUCES ONLY DIPS AND DRIPS)- AREX GOT A FIELD COMMISSION. YOU PROBABLY DON’T EVEN KNOW AREX RECEIVED A CITATION FOR UNCOMMON VALOUR- THAT IS BECAUSE AREX NEVER MENTIONS IT. HE DOESN’T HAVE TO, HE PISSES EXCELLENCE.

Horrible casi todo.

And the Hallmark EVENT ITEMS are still NOT exclusives! They still loose that right the SECOND they become available to order online after the various cons these event items are available at. That setoff two is really nice though,I got mine at Comic-Con,might go for an extra set when I fly over for NYCC in October. And an extra itty bitty Gorn, since I’m a big Gorn fan, lol!

I WANT the Glenn! How to order?
