Star Trek: Discovery (DSC)
Formerly known as “CBS All Access Star Trek”
Season 1: 15-episode season set to be released in two chapters; September 2017 (first 9 episodes), January 2018 (remaining 6 episodes).
Season 2: 13-episode season. Expected to debut Early 2019. More details TBA. Pre-production began January 2018. Filming in Toronto began April 2018.
Set in the Prime Timeline, the USS Discovery (NCC-1031) and the USS Shenzhou (NCC-1227) explore the galaxy, 10 years before Kirk takes command of the Enterprise NCC-1701 (TOS).
STAR TREK: DISCOVERY will follow the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new lifeforms, and one Starfleet officer who must learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself.
The series will feature a new ship, new characters and new missions, while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.
NOTE: Episodes are released weekly.
First episode was broadcast on CBS to increase interest in the new show, as well as the CBS All Access streaming service, all subsequent episodes have been exclusively on the CBS All Access streaming service.
All new episodes will be available on-demand weekly on Sundays at 8:30PM ET/5:30PM ET exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers in the U.S.
The first eight episodes of Season 1 ran from Sunday, Sept. 24 to Sunday, Nov. 5. The season resumed with the second chapter debuting Sunday, January 7, 2018.

Space Channel episodes air at 8:00 PM ET on Sundays.
The CraveTV streaming service will make episodes available 24-hours after they air on Space.
The first eight episodes of Season 1 ran from Sunday, September 24 to Sunday, November 5. The season will then resume with the second chapter in January 2018. Every episode will also be available to Space subscribers on the newly launched Space GO app, in addition to being available on Space.ca and participating On Demand channels.
Discovery will also be shown the Bell Media owned Z channel in French, starting on Sunday, September 24 at 9:00PM. With new episodes airing weekly Sundays at 9:00PM.

The show has been licensed to Netflix for the rest of the world. Episodes will be released weekly, each episode of the new series will be made available within 24-hours of its U.S. premiere.
Netflix launched Star Trek: Discovery on Monday, September 25 to countries outside of the U.S. and Canada. The first eight episodes of Season 1 ran from Monday, September 25 to Monday, November 6 with the second chapter resuming in January 2018.
