Set in the Prime Timeline, the USS Discovery (NCC-1031) and the USS Shenzhou (NCC-1227) explore the galaxy, 10 years before Kirk takes command of the Enterprise NCC-1701 (TOS).

STAR TREK: DISCOVERY will follow the voyages of Starfleet on their missions to discover new worlds and new lifeforms, and one Starfleet officer who must learn that to truly understand all things alien, you must first understand yourself.

The series will feature a new ship, new characters and new missions, while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation of dreamers and doers.

For season two, new episodes will be available on-demand weekly on Thursdays at 5:30 PM PT/8:30 PM ET exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers in the U.S.

Episodes air on CTV Sci-Fi Channel at 5:00PM PT/8:00 PM ET on Thursday.

The show has been licensed to Netflix for the rest of the world. Episodes will be released weekly, each episode of the new series will be made available within 24-hours of its U.S. premiere.
