Yesterday brought good awards news for two actors working on the Star Trek sequel. First up Benedict Cumberbatch won an acting award for his work on the UK stage in the play Frankenstein. Plus Zachary Quinto’s first film as a producer picked up an Oscar nomination for writing. Star Trek VI’s Christopher Plummer also picked up an Oscar nomination.
