Orci & Lindelof ‘Holed Up’ In Hotel Writing Star Trek Sequel + Want Fan Input On Enterprise Deflector Naming

There is more news on progress for the 2012 Star Trek sequel script, which is targeted for delivery next month. Now co-writers Robert Orci and Damon Lindelof have indicated they have relocated to a hotel to sit down and focus on finishing their first draft. ‘Star Trek IV’ cinematographer Don Peterman dies at 79 [UPDATED]

Don Peterman, the cinematographer who was nominated for an Oscar for his work on Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, has passed away at the age of 79. The two-time Oscar nominee died of complications from leukemia at his home in Palos Verdes Estates on February 5th. See below for more on Peterman and his career. Orci: Star Trek Sequel Script To Be Delivered In Late March + Pegg: Shooting In August [UPDATED]

Today Star Trek sequel co-writer and producer Roberto Orci has given an update on plans for the script for the movie planned for a Summer 2012 release. Orci says that the writing team plan on turning it in late March. More details below.
